Hope everyone's having a great end of summer. This has been a summer to remember and I'm sad to see it go! I'm pretty grateful though to have so many fun memories to warm up the coming months. Ok, wow. That could quite possibly be the cheesiest sentence I've ever typed.
Anywhooo, so it's back to school time and that's pretty exciting. Even more exciting is Jazz Under the Stars, coming up next month in my honorary home state, Indiana! Culturatti Kids is presenting this jazzy benefit show to support literary arts education. You can check out the link below to get more info and buy tickets, but I can tell you that this is not a night you want to miss. Aside from the awesome live music (all artists I know and adore), there will be a gang of family-friendly activities - story-telling, face painting, etc.. and YUM food! (All I needed to hear was food and I was good.)
Seriously though. This is a cause that is super near and dear to my heart. I was a crazy-smart kid, but ADHD made school a big pain in the tuckus. If it were not for my strong arts and literary education, school would have been H-E-double-hockey-sticks. I love Culturatti Kids for recognizing the impact of books and writing programs in public schools. Warms my little ticker. :)
I really hope you all can make it, and please support this great evening and cause by passing this message on to everyone you've ever met in the course of your entire life. What? It's a good cause!
See you there!
